Powered by Makita’s 18V LXT Li-ion battery system (battery and charger sold separately), it delivers outstanding power and control with a maximum tightening torque of 580 Nm, speeds up to 3,200 RPM, and 4,000 impacts per minute (ipm).

At the heart of the DTW300Z is a brushless motor that ensures longer runtime, reduced heat build-up, and extended tool life. For precision and versatility, the tool features a 4-stage electronic impact power selector, allowing you to adjust torque settings to match different fastening tasks. The variable speed trigger with full-speed mode offers enhanced control and faster response, reducing trigger travel when speed is essential.

Safety and efficiency are further enhanced by the auto-stop system, which halts the tool automatically after completing a fastening job—available in both forward and reverse directions. An electric brake stops the rotation instantly when the trigger is released, offering improved safety and control.

Designed with user convenience in mind, the DTW300Z includes a glow-in-the-dark (phosphorescent) bumper for better tool visibility in dark environments, as well as an integrated LED job light to brighten the workspace.

With a 1/2" square drive, it’s compatible with standard bolts (M10–M20) and high-tensile bolts (M10–M16), making it a reliable choice for heavy-duty fastening.
